Taking Your Application Design to the Next Level with SQL Server Data Mining
Put simply, data mining uses technology to find patterns in data. These patterns be useful to derive knowledge about data, and also to predict outcomes. Specifically in this presentation you will discover how learned knowledge and predictions can enhance application designs and the user experience. You will be introduced to data mining fundamentals, and to Microsoft SQL Server Data Mining (applicable to SQL Server 2005 and later). Numerous demonstrations will show how to develop data mining models, and also how to embed data mining experiences and results into applications.
This presentation is a must for those curious to understand what data mining can achieve, and also for the developer looking to embed “Artificial Intelligence” into their application designs. It is guaranteed to thrill you with potential, and excite you with the ease in which it can be accomplished. Note that there is no requirement for attendees to have any data mining background. But be warned: This session includes numerous demonstrations ranging from the simple (involving no code!) to the more sophisticated.
